OUR STORY:
Founded in 2019, the Vegas Badboyz of Podcasting started out as a close group of friends who loved to watch and talk wrestling with one another.
DJ Impact had a vision, purchased four microphones and a pro soundboard and invited his friends over for a surprise. The four friends found themselves in front of microphones for the first time in January of 2019 calling themselves The Vegas Bad Boyz of Podcasting.
Having a background in radio and mixing beats as a DJ, DJ Impact would be the perfect person to be the host of the weekly shows. Combine members: Simon Street with his off the wall personality and hardnosed commentary, Matt Michaels with his wrestling training at UPW and years of experience in the entertainment field, and King Lucky with his perspective of being a passionate WWE fan would create a show that covered all the prior week’s major TV wrestling programs which would become their “Wrestling Talk” show. In addition to their main show, they would focus on three newsworthy stories from the world of pro wrestling that made for their second show “3 Count”.
With the Vegas Badboyz up and running, it was decided that they wanted to try to bring listeners some of the best wrestling interviews in all of podcasting. From their first interview with former XPW wrestler “Phenomenal” Phil Lander, they would welcome weekly guests from all walks of wrestling. These interviews would eventually become the weekly shows known as “Matt Michaels’ People I Don’t Hate”.
As popularity grew, the Badboyz added another friend to the mix in Sin City Steve. Steve’s professional commentary prowess and his love of New Japan Pro Wrestling and Independent Wrestling brought another welcomed perspective to the blossoming show.
The Badboyz have forged professional relationships with companies like Ring of Honor,, Impact Wrestling, Lingerie Fighting Championship, Generation Championship Wrestling, and Las Vegas’ own, FSW “Future Stars of Wrestling”.
It was because of that relationship with FSW that the Badboyz and FSW owner Joe DeFalco started the weekly interview show “The DeFalco Files”. Whether it is Joe’s thoughts, opinions and memories, or those of the many special guests from the rich history of FSW, each week is an unfiltered and honest look at the business from those who live and love it.
In the ever-growing world of podcasting, the Badboyz have acknowledged that there are many different stories to tell not only from the world of professional wrestling but those of athletes, musicians, actors, and other artists and professionals. This recognition has led the Badboyz to interviewing a diversely interesting and growing group of talented people.
The Vegas Badboyz of Podcasting will continue to keep exploring new ideas and strive to produce content that brings our audience the unique prospective that only the minds of the Vegas Badboyz can give.
To all of our listeners, we thank you for your continued support. If you have just discovered us, all we ask is that you give us chance to entertain you as only we can.
With Love,
The Vegas Badboyz of Podcasting
